What is this page?

Here's a bit about me.

• I have always been into technology, but my grasp on it has always been tenuous at best. I've learned more about backend engineering over the years, and I've enjoyed Action Script 3 (RIP) in college, but I would still consider my skills pretty lacking, especially my front end skills (if you want proof... you're looking at it). This page is just one of many things I am tinkering with as a learning tool. A LAB if you will.
• I also enjoy writing. This usually manifests as me commenting on Reddit a concerning amount, but I do enjoy journaling, writing fiction, and I guess based on how I usually comment on social media, guides, reviews and analysis of whatever nerdy junk I'm fixated on. There is something about commenting on social media that spoils the enjoyment of writing though. Maybe it's the fact that most people don't want to read a wall of text, or that the flood of dopamine from likes and upvotes will pass by as your post gets swallowed into the void of the algorithm. I wanted to make my own Void to ramble into. So that's the other part of this site: to be a place to write whatever unfocused jargon I feel like. Maybe they'll be extensive and well thought out. Or not. At the very least, this is the web equivelant of a wall covered in sticky NOTES.
• Lab + Notes = LAB-NOTES.

Expect this to be a lot of writing about random thoughts, games, music, movies, trains of thought, personal reflections, or maybe some weird shit that I feel like programming. While this isn't a "secret" webpage, I do like the idea of keeping my IRL identity off of here. If I want to start producing more focused content, I will do that on another page. This is a page for me to tinker with web tools and write to an audience that doesn't exist, and I want all of the liberty that comes with general anonymity.

I will update this page periodically. For now, enjoy the bare bones wall of text. Welcome to my head. Enjoy your stay. I live here.
